Welcome to Yoga Nidra!
Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep, is a useful meditation tool to help you relax and unwind. It promotes deep rest and relaxation and is a simple way to relieve stress. It’s a way to achieve peace in a short amount of time.
These are guided meditations, and the only goal is to follow Coach Mooney’s voice and directives without strain. Each practice begins with a short stretch to prepare your body to settle in. Then, after getting comfortable in savasana, we’ll set an intention, or sankalpa, for the session and then begin the meditation.
Props that may be helpful: pillow and blanket for rest on the floor or a comfortable chair / cushion
